The 11th D-Fest

The National and University Library organised the 11th Festival of Croatian Digitisation Projects in Zagreb, dedicated to digitising cultural and scientific heritage, digital material management systems, digital products and services, and the promotion of digitisation projects. The 11th D-Fest was held virtually on the 12th and 13th of May.
The central theme of this year’s D-fest was Cooperation on the Digitisation of Materials, which was encouraged by E-Culture, currently the largest national collaborative project of digitisation.
This year’s D fest presented an overview of the activities of the national project E-Culture Digitisation of cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture and Media and partner institutions: Croatian State Archives, Croatian Radio and Television, Museum of Arts and Crafts, and the National and University Library in Zagreb.
This largest national collaborative project for the digitisation of cultural heritage will establish a new and innovative digital space that facilitates the work of heritage institutions and the sharing and connection of content.
Digitisation and digital transformation will be further strengthened through the National Resistance and Recovery Plan, which includes the Ministry of Culture and Media projects.
