The 16th edition of the Vukovar Film Festival
The Vukovar Film Festival features 60 film screenings at five locations, showing from the 29th of June until the 3rd of July. Visitors will enjoy watching movies from their choice of location, whether it be the terrace of the Waterways Agency, in the park of the Eltz Castle, in the CineStar Vukovar, the Hrvatski Dom and in the Borovo Cinema.

The program includes feature films, short films and documentaries. Seven feature films, nine short films and eight documentaries in competition for the festival awards will be shown in the main program.
The festival also features a rich film, entertainment and educational program, including ‘Festival hits’ and ‘Women can do anything’, a one-minute film workshop shot in one frame. It will also feature a screenwriting workshop, a ‘From idea to realization’ workshop, and an entertainment program.
The praised Ukrainian film Vision of a Butterfly’ directed by Maxim Nakonechny will open the festival.
So far, more than a thousand films have been shown at the VFF in Vukovar, and it has been visited by more than 300 guests from the film industry. We held about 40 different film workshops and that speaks of the importance of this festival.
In order to get top film titles, we buy films from famous film festivals in Berlin and Cannes a year in advance.
