In May this year, the Croatian Tourist Board advised that the campaign had increased rural tourism results by 40 per cent.
HTZ’s director Kristjan Staničić pointed out that tourists are increasingly looking for quality, authenticity, sustainability and safety, wanting to get to know lesser-known destinations and the culture and life of the locals.
The project offers experiences of seclusion, rest in pure nature, home-grown food, unique autochthonous experiences, and quality service.
