A splendid luxurious mountain villa
Below mountain range Velika Kapela, the small village of Sunger is becoming a real paradise for those seeking a secluded retreat, growing richer every year with beautiful mountain villas ideal for a vacation in any season. One of these new homes is a Forest Home. Located in the heart of a forest, with enchanting views during both day and night, this could be your next luxurious vacation while staying in harmony with nature.
Design – luxurious yet sustainable
Forest Home is a mountain villa designed to be the connection between luxury, comfort, and sustainability. The villa offers a modern and luxurious design that fits perfectly into its surroundings and with its natural materials and glass walls allowing it to become one with the forest around it.
When designing a luxurious mountain villa like Forest Home, it was essential to give a feeling of comfort and coziness. Wood, in many shapes and colours, takes over the space with masonry decorating the walls. To make the interior stand out, but maintain a harmonious space, carefully selected pieces of furniture are accent colours. This approach in design gives a sense of warmth, coziness, and luxury.
Forest Home has three levels. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a fireplace, and playroom for the youngest. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dedicated spa zone with a sauna and jacuzzi are ideal for a lovely vacation with friends and family.
Besides having a fantastic view, the outdoor area offers a magical winter garden and covered barbecue area with a beautiful large table for meals and entertaining. Attention to detail is visible in the outdoor decoration as well. The whole area around the house follows the aesthetic direction set for the interior, making this a little architectural wonder in the woods of Sunger.
The mountain climate requires a heating system that can be used year-round and heated floors throughout the house ensure an experience of complete comfort also.
If you decide to visit
This villa has almost 200 square metres, and welcomes up to 8 people, with features ideal for families with kids. It is attractive in all seasons, but it becomes especially magical when it gets covered in snow in the winter. Pro tip: if you stay there during the winter you might especially enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the forest and the night sky.
Forest Home will provide you with an opportunity to relax, recharge your batteries, and reconnect with nature without having to give up on luxury. It also proves that luxury and sustainability can coexist and even complement one another.
