The first Mövenpick Hotel in Croatia

Accor, the world-famous hospitality group based in France, with its company Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, signed a contract with Croatian MPPD and Split Peninsula Properties to construct the new Mövenpick Hotel in Split.

Located at a beautiful location at Žnjan beach in Split, the expected opening date is set for spring of 2023.

Mövenpick Hotel look & feel

Accor has already opened its first hotel in Split, MGallery, and with it entered the market of one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Croatia. Mövenpick will offer a design-oriented atmosphere throughout the hotel building.

The Žnjan location is a plateau awaiting major reconstruction in the following years, set to become Split’s most attractive lounge and recreational zone.

The hotel will include 156 comfortable rooms, all with a sea view, two restaurants, a spa centre, an innovative workspace and a conference area. The project also includes 110 parking spaces with electric car charging stations.

The crown jewel of the hotel will be a rooftop restaurant with a lounge and infinity pool. It will serve the best of Mediterranean cuisine with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Guests will receive the top-quality service and personal approach that are trademarks of the company.

Alan Pleština from Puls-ar Arhitektura, in collaboration with Accor’s design team, is in charge of the design.

Pleština is established through many notable projects across Croatia, including the Arena Centar Shopping complex and Arena sports venue, both internationally awarded for their design.

Kristina Zanić Design Consultants from Dubai, designed the rooftop restaurant. The design will match the concept of serving Mediterranean healthy cuisine with a view, as deep coastal colours and sunset served as an inspiration.
